Rick Stafford, President
As the President and founder of Interstate Interiors, Rick Stafford brings 30 years of an unrivaled wealth of experience to bear upon every project Interstate Interiors, Inc. is involved with. Working closely with each project team, Rick’s unique perspective provides solutions to complex project logistics, budget development and schedule constraints. Rick’s knowledge, integrity and progressive leadership has been rewarded over the years with client loyalty and the assignment of tough projects, from new out-of-the-ground buildings to high-end interior fit outs.
Alex Mathew, Director of Operations
With over 25 years experience in the construction field, Alex works closely with each project team, supervising all facets of the project from estimating to project close out. In his position, Alex is personally involved in every project ensuring that Interstate Interiors, Inc. provides accurate budgeting and value engineering options, coherent and realistic scheduling, aggressive and complete subcontractor buyouts, and complete project controls, all of which lead to the ability to maintain construction standards of the highest caliber.
Paul Downs, General Superintendent
Paul’s extensive 30 year experience in the construction industry encompasses a wide range of complex and challenging projects. In senior leadership positions Paul has been involved in the build out of new buildings, specialty projects, interior fit outs and residential work. As with the rest of the leadership of Interstate Interiors, Inc., Paul is personally involved in every project from inception to completion, working with Alex and Rick to develop and maintain a project strategy in sync with client needs and expectations.
Kevin Sekulich, Assistant Project Manager
Kevin, a double major in economics and communications from Rutgers University, has held the Assistant Project Manager position for Interstate Interiors Inc. since 2018. In his position, Kevin utilizes his background in economics and communications by being personally involved with assisting Alex and Rick in providing the accurate budgeting and value engineering options, coherent and realistic scheduling, aggressive and complete subcontractor buyouts. Kevin’s great abilities allows Interstate Interiors Inc. to develop and maintain each project strategy, allowing our team to provide projects of the highest caliber.
